Greek-Canadian comedian Angelo Tsarouchas, known as "The Funny Greek," returns to Athens for two nights at Gagarin 205 (205 Liosion) with his latest stand-up special, "Skits & Wits." Greek-American stand-up comedian Gus Constantellis brings their sharp wit and observations on immigrant family life, Greek heritage and queer dating to the Tzeni Karezi Theater (3 Akadimias). Known for performances at top comedy clubs in New York and a Comedy Central set, Constantellis will perform in English. Tickets are 25 euros at more.com.

One of the most successful and prominent stand-up comedians in the world, Jimmy Carr is back in Athens with his dark humor and outrageous jokes for one exclusive show. The award-winning comedian will be performing his latest stand-up comedy tour "Terribly Funny 2.0" on November 25 at the Christmas Theater (ct.gr). Following the popularity of last year's show, the second Irish Stand Up Comedy is coming to Athens in 27-28 November 2019. Two of Ireland's biggest-named, London-based comedians Rory O'Hanlon and Peter Flanagan will be performing and Niamh Marron will return to MC and present some of her new material.

Turkish comedians Aslı Akbay and Erim Bilgin’s English stand-up comedy show “Malignant Humor” will be on stage on Nov 8 in kargART inside Karga in Kadıköy and on Nov 12 at Manhattan Bar in Ankara as part of the 3rd Ankara Comedy Festival.

Bulgaria's very First Comedy Festival is to start on February 22 and will continue up until March 9 in Sofia. It will feature stand-up comedy performances and improvisational theater.

Among the venues hosting the festival are Sofia Live club, Studio 5, and Sulza i Smyah Theater.
