Star Wars sequel trilogy

The final film in the epic "Star Wars" trilogy of trilogies brought Hollywood to a standstill on Dec. 16, as a galaxy of VIPs from the space saga that began four decades ago descended on a glittering world premiere.

The latest trailer for the Star Wars saga was released.

The ninth episode of the space series is Fisher's last movie appearance before suddenly dying. The premiere of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" will be December 20.

Disney Film Company has announced plans for at least three more Star Wars movies, NOVA TV reports.

The first one will be ready in 2022, and the rest will follow in two years. So between the last Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, there will be a pause of 3 years before the next one appears.

Disney bought the "Star Wars" rights from George Lucas in 2012 for $ 4 billion.

Director Colin Trevorrow has refused to work on the ninth film of the Star Wars Space Saga because of conflicted ideas about the project,  a BBC statement said on Wednesday.
