Temperatures in Greece set to peak at 37C on Friday
A gradual rise in temperature in Greece is expected until Saturday, according to Meteo.gr of the National Observatory of Athens.
According to the available forecast, this rise is expected to peak from Friday and reach 36 to 37 degrees Celsius in some areas.
Weather in Bulgaria: Two weeks of Winter with Snow and up to Minus 10 Degrees in some places

The absolute records for high temperatures for January were improved yesterday in five stations of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology in the country, reports the NIMH.
In Pleven yesterday the temperature reached 21.7 degrees Celsius, and the old temperature record was 21.2 degrees and was from January 2002.

Cities see record high temperatures
Turkey is experiencing the warmest May due to hot weather front from North Africa, causing rising temperatures across the country, according to state meteorology officials.
After the weekend during which the temperatures set all-time record highs for May in Antalya, Muğla, Burdur and Isparta, temperatures hit 40 degrees Celsius on May 18 in most cities.
