Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic laid a wreath on Sunday

OPLENAC - Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic laid a wreath on Sunday at the tomb of the leader of the First Serbian Uprising Karadjordje Petrovic at the Church of St George in Oplenac and said that now was not the time to experiment with stathood, but to by united.

"That is why it is important to have political and economic unity in the country," he told reporters.

Greetings for Statehood Day

BELGRADE - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik sent his greetings to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Friday for Serbia's Statehood Day, saying that Serbia had strengthened its position domestically and internationally by moving forward with its EU integration.

Dacic opens 'Bequests and gifts' exhibition

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic opened an exhibition at the National Library of Serbia on Friday titled ‘Bequests and gifts: Legacies as cultural resources of great significance’, saying that in the coming decades we should work “not only to strengthen the state and find a new place on the world map, but also to enlighten (ourselves) as there can be no progress without this.”
