One dead in Mykonos bar brawl
One man was killed and another was seriously injured in a brawl that took place on Friday night in a bar on the island of Mykonos.
According to reports, knives were used in the fight, which involved up to 25 Pakistani nationals.
Police are investigating the incident.

Wet front brings highest rainfall to Skopelos, Karditsa

Mediterranean Yacht Show returns to Nafplio this month
The 9th Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) will be held from April 27 to May 1 in Nafplio, in the eastern Peloponnese.
According to a statement, owners of 120 vessels have expressed an interest in the 95 available berths at the port of the southern Greek city, leading to another year with a waiting list.

Searching for Zeus’ abode on island peak
Since 2021, a team of researchers from the Swiss School of Archeology in Greece and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Piraeus and the Islands has been exploring the top of Mount Hellanion, the highest peak on Aegina island, as well as the entire Saronic Gulf. A sanctuary dedicated to Zeus previously stood where the Analipsi Chapel stands today, overlooking the gulf.

The impasses of Mykonos
The presence of the Greek authorities on Mykonos to conduct inspections is necessary. However, the situation is not going to change substantially if the local community is not mobilized and if the local businesses do not realize the impasses created by anarchic development.
It is also in their own interest to find and respect legal limits.
