"We will categorically not send troops to Ukraine. The interpretations of the changes in the Law on Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria were extremely unsuccessful in a complex pre-election situation."

This was stated by the Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov on Bulgaria ON AIR TV.

The Ministry of Defense has issued a public order for the purchase of six refurbished engines for MiG-29 fighters. For the delivery of the engines, the military department has set aside BGN 26.4 million including VAT, according to a reference in the portal for public procurement.

We have a serious problem with the maintenance of the equipment and a large percentage of it is faulty. I don't see what we can give out of the serviceable equipment we have.

"We can say that the gas crisis is behind us". This was commented on Nova TV by the acting minister of economy and industry Nikola Stoyanov. He added that in the next 12-14 months Bulgaria is secured. The prices are clear, and the business can run smoothly.

"Unless something happens with the war, I expect that the peak of inflation has passed, thanks to fuel and electricity prices, I don't expect them to go up". This was stated by the caretaker Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov on BNT.

Acting Minister of Economy and Industry Nikola Stoyanov stated that the government categorically supports the need for compensation for businesses due to the high prices of natural gas.

The cabinet will prepare a compensatory scheme that it will propose to the next parliament, Stoyanov also said at the opening of a specialized exhibition for industrial machines and technologies.

Acting Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov confirmed the information that Ukraine is making a counteroffensive in the military clash with Russia. According to him, it is still too early to say whether the tide of the war has been turned.
