Greece to experience ‘Indian Summer’ this October, meteorological service reports
Greece is set to experience an "Indian Summer" or "Saint Demetrius' Summer" this October, according to the director of the National Meteorological Service, Theodoros Kolydas.
In a social media post, Kolydas explained that while October is usually a transitional month, it will be marked by warm, dry weather.

The Astronomical Summer begins Today
The astronomical summer comes on June 21 at 12:13 p.m. Bulgarian time. This year the beginning of summer will bring us a lot of sun and high temperatures.
The good weather will continue during the week, with short-term precipitation and thunderstorms in the afternoon after June 22. But rainfall and thunderstorms are common this year in late spring and early summer.

Hoteliers Expect more Tourists in August and September
Whether the summer tourist season is successful or weaker than in the recent years remains to be seen, but the data for the first days of the most active summer month of August show that 88% of all seaside hotels were occupied on August 3rd, and 68% of the full month is already booked, according to preliminary data from the Institute for Analysis and Evaluation in Tourism.

Winter Officially Arrives in Bulgaria Тoday
The astronomical winter will arrive in Bulgaria in the evening of Saturday, December 21, at 7:11 pm.
The time of the local arrival was announced by the Institute for Astronomy and the National Astronomical Lab on peak Rozhen at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, BAS.
