Casualties Rise in Kharkiv as Russian Strikes Target Multiple Districts
A large-scale Russian assault on Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi, and Kholodnohirskyi districts of overnight has resulted in 21 injuries, including five children, according to the State Emergency Service. Explosions were reported on the night of October 28, with a significant hit occurring near a nine-storey residential building in the Kholodnohirskyi district.
Russian attacks hit power supplies: Ukraine
Russian aerial attacks wounded more than a dozen and knocked out electricity for tens of thousands of Ukrainians overnight in attacks on residential areas as temperatures dropped towards freezing, Kiev said on Oct. 20.
Moscow also said it had shot down 110 Ukrainian drones fired at its territory overnight, the largest attempted aerial barrage by Kiev in more than two weeks.

Russia claims it captured another settlement in Ukraine
Russia claimed Saturday that a group of its forces captured the settlement of Kirove in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.
In a statement, the country's Defense Ministry said its Tsentr (Center) forces had captured Kirove, while other army groups had advanced along the frontline.
