Turkey's flag carrier Turkish Airlines aired a new advertisement featuring Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman at half-time of the 51st Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons in Houston, Texas on Feb. 5.

The commercial was reportedly watched by around 188 million people around the world.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the blockbuster superhero flick, leapt for a second straight week to the heights of the box office -- although with greatly diminished ticket sales, industry estimates showed on April 3.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is centered on the clash of two of the most recognizable caped heroes of the comic book world - but it is the women of the DC Comics universe who defy expectations. 

The world premiere of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was held in New York on March 20 under the sponsorship of Turkish Airlines (THY).

A number of people have apparently been confused by the latest Turkish Airlines (THY) commercial for the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie featuring fictional destinations, phoning call centers to demand tickets to "Gotham City" and "Metropolis."

Turkish Airlines has inked a sponsorship deal with Warner Bros Pictures for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the long-awaited movie that will bring the legendary superheroes together. 

The national carrier has thus added the cities of these superheroes, Gotham City and Metropolis, to its "flight network."

The highly anticipated (and official) ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ movie trailer has been finally released. The 3:30-minute video, which was screened at San Diego’s Comic-Com, left viewers awestruck by its special effects.
