Police seize hazardous Covid supplies in Athens warehouse raids
Police have seized thousands of Covid-19 self-test kits and millions of medical masks deemed hazardous to public health during raids on warehouses in Athens, as shown in a video released on Friday. Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the case, according to police.
Greece ends compulsory use of face masks on public transport
The use of face masks against Covid-19 has ceased to be compulsory on public transport in Greece.
Masks became obligatory on public transport in April 2020.
The government announced an end to the requirement on March 14, explaining that it would take effect on March 27.

Brazil receives 650 Turkish respirators amid COVID-19
A shipment of 650 domestically produced respirators from Turkey arrived in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo on June 7 amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank shared a video of their delivery on Twitter.
He said Turkish intensive care unit respirators have become 'the breath of the world.'

Turkey's virus aid recognized in US congressional record
The U.S. Congressional Record has recognized Turkey's two separate plane loads of coronavirus gear to help America combat the pandemic.
"I rise to recognize the efforts of one of our allies to assist with our coronavirus response," said congressman Joe Wilson, co-chair of the Caucus on U.S.-Turkey Relations and Turkish Americans, in an issue on June 5.
