Businessman Beko in stable condition
BELGRADE - Businessman Milan Beko (53) is in a stable condition and his postoperaive recovery is going well, director of the Clinical Center of Serbia Miljko Ristic said on Monday.
It is difficult to make any prognoses but so far there are no signs to indicate the risk of developing complications, Ristic told Tanjug.

Female Afghan MP survives suicide attack, 3 dead
A suicide bomber on Nov. 16 attacked a vehicle convoy carrying Afghan lawmakers including a prominent female MP, killing three civilians and injuring 22 others, officials said.
The blast, in which the attacker detonated an explosives-packed car, left the MPs' vehicles badly damaged on a main road in the west of Kabul, close to the parliament.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta, the chair of the Social Democrat Party and presidential candidate, declared that fellow Social Democrat Viorel Hrebenciuc is no longer a deputy, as the Chamber of Deputies acknowledged his resignation.
