SYRIZA chief Alexis Tsipras was expected to meet with Bank of Greece Yannis Stournaras on Thursday. According to sources the meeting had been originally scheduled for Friday, but was nearly cancelled following reports that Stournaras was expected to meet with To Potami founder, former journalist Stavros Theodorakis, on Thursday.

The Finance Ministry cleaners, who have been engaged in a months-long legal battle to win their jobs back, intervened on Wednesday in a row between New Democracy and SYRIZA over Attica Governor Rena Dourou’s decision not to offer them jobs at the regional authority.
