Turkey and Saudi Arabia are in high-level talks with the goal of forming a military alliance to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to sources speaking to the Huffington Post.

The emir of Qatar on March 12 met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an for surprise talks in the capital Ankara, a Turkish presidential official said.        

The Emir of Qatar said on Feb. 26 he was committed to "stability" in Egypt, despite a recent row between the two nations over Cairo's airstrikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants in Libya.
      

Turkey's foreign minister was in Doha on Jan. 20 to hold talks with Qatari leaders and put on a united front in the wake of the recent Qatari-Egyptian thaw, which seemed to mark a shift in the long-running foreign policy alignment of both countries.

Qatar and Turkey, whose bilateral and regional cooperation has become remarkably more visible in recent years, have taken yet another assertive step to deepen their bilateral relations, signing a series of agreements in Ankara, including a joint memorandum to found a "Supreme Strategic Committee."

DOHA - Serbian Minister of Youth and Sport Vanja Udovicic and his French counterpart Patrick Kanner conferred in Doha on Monday on intensification of the two countries' cooperation in the area of sport.
