Lebanon's cabinet on Dec. 21 agreed to export the country's waste in a move that could end a crisis that led to a wave of protests and threatened the downfall of the government. 

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu has offered to help his Lebanese counterpart Tammam Salam in overcoming the huge garbage crisis in the country, which has shaken Salam's national unity government amid angry street protests. 

Serbia's First Deputy PM and FM has met with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.

This is Dacic's first visit to Lebanon, and the talks focused on "improvement in relations between the two countries."

Germany's foreign minister called Oct. 28 for a "vow of solidarity" from the international community for millions of Syrian refugees and the countries such as Lebanon struggling to host them.
