Turkish TAV acquires George Bush airport duty-free rights
TAV Airports Holding's joint venture, ATU Duty Free, has acquired the right to operate duty free shops at the Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport for the next decade.
The tender enables ATU Duty Free to operate in 700 square meters of duty free area in the airport, which was visited by more than 41 million passengers last year, the company said in a statement March 27.
Turkish TAV to operate advertisement areas of Tunisia Carthage Airport
Turkey's TAV Operation Services has won the tender to operate the advertisement areas of Carthage Airport in the capital of Tunisia for four years, the company said by a written statement on March 2.
The number of airports whose advertisement areas are operated by TAV Operation Services has now increased to three, the company added.
TAV increased net profit by 64 percent in 2014
TAV, Turkey's leading brand in airport operations, posted a net profit of 218 million euros in 2014 with an increase of 64 percent compared to the previous year, the company said by a written statement late Feb. 19.

TAV to set up IT system of huge airport terminal
TAV Information Technologies has won the communication technologies tender held for the Abu Dhabi Airport Midfield Terminal Building, which will be the world's largest terminal constructed under one roof when completed. TAV IT will undertake the IT infrastructure set-up and maintenance support services of the terminal, the company said by a written statement.
