Gov't adopts bills amending excise, tax laws
BELGRADE - The Serbian government on Saturday adopted a bill on the excise law that amends the provisions on the time and manner of filing excise tax returns.
Also adopted were bills amending the laws on value added tax and corporate income tax, the Serbian government's press office said in a statement.

Blast causes minor damage at Thessaloniki tax office
A tax office in Thessaloniki was damaged early on Monday when a rudimentary explosive device went off at its entrance.
Police said the device contained three camping gas canisters and had been placed outside the tax office in Pylaia. The blast caused minor damage.
Nobody was injured as the tax office was closed when the explosion occurred.

FinMin Petrescu: Draft Tax Code to be reposted for public consultation
The Finance Ministry will repost on its website, for public consultation, a draft amending the Tax Code, and the new document will come into effect on January 1, 2016, according to Finance Minister Ioana-Maria Petrescu.
Bulgarian MPs Reject Motion to Hike Interest Income Tax
Bulgaria's Parliament on Thursday turned down a proposal to increase tax on interest earned from bank deposits to 10% from the current 8% from 2015.
The proposal was submitted by the centre-right GERB party, the biggest partner in the coalition government.
The Parliament rejected the motion in second and final reading in a 95-77 vote with four abstentions.
