Number of taxis in Istanbul to be increased: Mayor
The number of taxis in Istanbul will be increased for the first time after many years, because they are not enough for the city's large population, Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has said in an interview with private broadcaster Fox TV.

Taxi drivers in Novi Sad join the protest
The President of the Contractual Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Radenko Vidakovic, told 021.rs that they had asked the police to allow them to make a ride through Novi Sad without stopping, in order to make as little traffic problems as possible.

A new innovative approach will be implemented at Sofia International Airport in order to fight illegal taxi services. Apparently the measures have been imposed so as to fight the negative effects that illegal taxi services have had on the legally registered companies.
Uber Might Soon Become Illegal in Bulgaria
New legislative changes have been adopted in the first round of voting in Bulgarian National Assembly. In case the second round of voting also turns out to be favorable, that would practically make the Uber business model illegal.
The texts have been proposed by center-right GERB MPs Tsvetomir Mihov and Ivan Valkov.
