Türkiye technology event, TEKNOFEST, hosted in the southern city of Adana this year, attracted approximately 1.1 million visitors.

Spanning five days from Wednesday, TEKNOFEST featured workshops, competitions, airshows, seminars, and concerts.

The event alternates between various Turkish cities in even years and Istanbul in odd years.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has lauded Türkiye's advances in technology and defense industries while addressing a crowd at Teknofest, the country's largest aviation, space and technology festival, held in the southern province of Adana.

Türkiye's largest technology and space event, Teknofest, kicked off its five-day run in the southern province of Adana on Wednesday, attracting scores of science enthusiasts on its opening day.

The official opening ceremony of the much-anticipated event was held in the afternoon with the participation of officials at Adana Airport.

The Industry and Technology Ministry has spearheaded the Terminal Istanbul project, aiming to transform the area of Atatürk Airport, which was decommissioned approximately five years ago, into a hub of technology and entrepreneurship through the establishment of centers within its terminal buildings.

The preparations are underway for the 10th edition of Teknofest, the world's largest space, aviation and technology festival, to be held in the southern province of Adana this year.

"Don't look far. Teknofest 2024 is in Adana," Selçuk Bayraktar, chairman of the Teknofest Board of Directors and the Turkish Technology Team (T3) Foundation, announced.

Türkiye's largest technology and space festival, Teknofest, opened its doors in the western province of İzmir on Sept. 27, with expectations of attracting millions of participants and featuring hundreds of competing projects in the third and last edition of the event for this year.

Türkiye's largest technology and space festival, Teknofest, kicked off as it opened its doors in the capital city of Ankara on Aug. 30, with an impressive lineup of approximately 9,000 competitors over the span of five days.

The four-day "TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan," Turkey's biggest aviation and technology festival's first abroad mission in Azerbaijan's capital Baku, started on May 26 with an expectation of around 50,000 visitors.

Some 5,000 contestants will compete in the fest held at Baku's Crystal Hall and the National Park.

Teknofest, one of the world's biggest aviation, space and technology festivals, will hold its first edition abroad in the Azerbaijani capital Baku in May.

The four-day event that is scheduled to take place between May 26 and May 29 will feature 10 technology competitions in fields such as rockets, agriculture, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
