'Wish you were here': Postcards help Germans connect in pandemic

Brightly colored rectangles of cardboard fill almost every wall of Gesa Funke's apartment in southern Berlin, with piles more stashed in corners and drawers - some from places as far-flung as French Polynesia.

The 29-year-old student has been sending and collecting postcards for years.

A Turkish prosecutor called for a sentence of up to 18 years for a delivery man who spat on a customer's pizza before handing it over.     

The incident -- which happened in 2017 in the central city of Eskişehir -- was captured by a security camera in the customer's apartment block.

This year's screening series comprises three fiction films and two documentaries, starting on Monday, November 4, with Elena Martin's 2017 "Julia Ist," a drama aimed audiences aged 12 and over.

Brutal accident: Driver survives a car accident and hit by another car (vid)

A shocking footage posted on LiveLeak shows a driver who has just survived a car accident being hit by another car.

The driver is seen trying to get some pieces of his ruined car, which is still in the middle of the highway, when a lorry hit him and drag him a few meters.

Another man rushed to the scene to help the man who is seen trying to recover.
