Skopje "ready to give up claim to Alexander the Great"
Beta is reporting this, citing AP, and adding that the Macedonian prime minister said Skopje was ready to do this "in order to settle a 26-year-long dispute with Greece."
"I give up (the claim of) Macedonia as being the sole heir to Alexander. History does not belong only to us, but also to Greece, and many other states," he told Telma TV.

The Macedonian government says it will take into account the position of "the majority of EU countries" when it comes to voting on Pristina's UNESCO bid.

Macedonians view Serbia as friendliest neighboring state
Macedonian citizens like Serbia more than any other neighboring country, an M Prospekt poll commissioned by Skopje-based Telma TV has shown.
According to the survey, 44.3 percent of respondents said Serbia is the country with the friendliest attitude toward Macedonia.
Serbia to summon FYROM ambassador
FYROM (Macedonian) Ambassador to Serbia Vera Jovanovska-Tipko will be summoned to the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tanjug is reporting on Tuesday.
The agency said it learned that Jovanovska will be asked today to provide answers about the wiretapping of journalists and representatives of Serbs in Macedonia.

"Serbian intelligence officer was in Macedonian Assembly"
Adviser at the Serbian embassy in Skopje and BIA officer Goran Zivaljevic was in the Assembly of Macedonia as it was stormed by violent protesters on April 27.
This has been reported by Macedonian television Telma.
Macedonia says Greek military plane violated its airspace
A Greek military airplane entered Macedonia's airspace at 10:30 CET on Thursday, Skopje-based TV Telma has reported.
The media outlet identified the plane as "a Phantom" - i.e., an F-4 - adding it flew about one kilometer into the Macedonian space.
Macedonian Army Builds Metal Fence on Border with Greece
The Macedonian Army has begun erecting a wire fence along the country's border with Greece to control a wave of migrants trying to cross, local TV channel Telma reported on Saturday.
The fence is being built in the areas where 'economic migrants' have been stopped with Macedonia denying them entry, Telma said.
Media Deny Getting Millions from Macedonian Govt
Mainstream TV broadcasters and newspapers have hotly denied the findings of a research paper, "Public Money in Media Space", by the Journalists' Association, ZNM, which claims the government spent 7 million euro on advertisements in only three months in 2014.
