Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will personally monitor the activities of 13 departments, and Deputy Prime Minister Maria Gabriel - 4, announced the government press service.

The Prime Minister will monitor the activities of several agencies, including Intelligence and National Security, the National Statistical Institute and the Patent Office.

Bulgarian court orders six years in jail for three ISIL suspects who tried to enter Turkey

A Bulgarian court on Sept. 13 sentenced three Syrians to six years in jail on terrorism charges.

The Speciliased Criminal Court convicted the three men for entering the Balkan country aiming to carry out terrorist actions abroad, but acquitted them from charges of being members of Islamic State, Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Muslim Brotherhood.

Two Czechs arrested over alleged links to YPG

A Turkish court has arrested two Czechs over membership of the Syrian Kurdish Peoples' Protection Units (YPG), a senior Czech official said on Aug. 2.

Turkish security forces detained the 30-year-old man and 24-year-old woman -Miroslav Farkas and Marketa Vselichova—in the southeastern province of Şırnak that borders Syria and Iraq on Nov. 13, 2016.
