Arabs on Twitter have started a social media campaign encouraging people to spend their summer holidays in Turkey.

Twitter's profile marked impressively the success over Barcelona in the rematch between the two teams in the 1/4-finals in the Champions League. After the end of the match won 3:0, the moderator of the account on the social network demonstrated his excitement with gibberish expressing the excitement of all Roma fans, which gathered more than 280,000 likes and 170, 000 retweets.

In a statement, the microblogging network's maintenance team specified that if a person breaks the twitter rules through his behavior, he will be deprived of his status in the social network, expressed by putting a blue badge.

After a successful test period, Twitter decided to double the maximum length of posts and to switch to 280 characters, the US company said. The news is a mini-revolution for the social network, the press reported.

Twitter is planning to impose new restrictions on pornographic and hateful imagery as part of a renewed effort to tackle abuse on its social network, reported BBC. 

The US company has also said it intends to review user complaints more quickly.

The efforts are outlined in a leaked email from the company's head of safety, which was published by Wired.

Payments over the Internet or via your mobile phone will become more secure from abuse. This will be provided by a new law on payment systems, which has already been approved by the Council of Ministers.

One of the options in the law is that payment service providers will introduce identification of the payer through his fingerprint or the iris of the eye.

Facing scrutiny from Congress, Twitter today disclosed that more than 200 Russia-linked accounts had been used to spread propaganda and misinformation on the company's platform, reports TheVerge.
