British MPs today adopted a government proposal to postpone Brexit, as well as a new vote on the exit treaty agreed by Theresa May and Brussels, the France press said.
 

If Britain has not left the EU until the election of MEPs, it will have to participate in these elections. This was stated at a press conference by a spokesman for the European Commission.

The European Union and the British government have negotiated a deal to step out of the stalemate around Brexit, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said, quoted by Associated Press.

Juncker said the EU and the British government are behind the revisions aimed at ending the deadlock over the Brexit agreement.

Brexit could be reversed if lawmakers reject the government's exit deal, British Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt said on March 10 after two major euroskeptic factions in parliament warned that Prime Minister Theresa May was facing a heavy defeat.

,,Smooth and regulated exit of the European Union is needed to preserve the good cooperation on a bilateral basis'' said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov  in a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Theresa May, the government information service said, quoted by Econ.bg

Theresa May is considering demands from Labour MPs for a parliamentary vote on the UK's future relationship with the EU as the price for backing her Brexit deal, as she faces an uphill battle to win over Conservative Eurosceptics, The Guardian reports.

Britain will guarantee the rights of European citizens on its territory, and those of the British in the EU will also be preserved, even if the country comes out of the union without a deal, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

Prime Minister Theresa May is considering a plan under which Britain's exit from the European Union would be delayed for up to two months, the Telegraph reported on Sunday.
