Release Athens 2024 welcomes Thievery Corporation and Black Pumas on July 9, at Water Square (Plateia Nero, 2616 Posidonos), in a day dedicated to the sounds of downtempo/dub/electronica and soul. Much loved in Greece, Thievery Corporation and newcomers Black Pumas promise one of this year's most significant and dance-worthy shows.

Rob Garza, one of the founders of legendary dub and trip-hop act Thievery Corporation, will be will be pumping out house and nu disco on the decks at the Bolivar beach bar on Thursday, July 26. Admission costs 10 euros and doors open at 9.30 p.m.

Chillout lounge act Thievery Corporation are on tour promoting their latest album, "Treasures from the Temple," as well as delighting fans with older favorites, and have teamed up with legendary reggae-pop band UB40, featuring Ali Campbell on vocals.

One of the world's most popular chill-out, dub and trip-hop acts is coming to Greece for one show on Friday, June 16, as part of the capital's Release Festival. Thievery Corporation will play popular tracks from their 10 existing albums, as well as new material at Plateia Nerou (Water Square) on Athens's southern coast.
