(UPD-17.20) The Eurogroup meeting has concluded. Reports say Greek PM Alexis Tsipras will address the European Parliament on Wednesday. Finance Ministers are expected to talk to the media shortly.

Euclid Tsakalotos is set to become Greece's new finance minister following the resignation of Yanis Varoufakis, according to Greek media reports on Monday.

Tsakalotos, deputy minister for international economic relations, took over from Varoufakis as lead negotiator in Greece's bail-out talks with international creditors in April. 

A meeting between the PM and the government’s top economy committee a few days before the 9th of April lasted about three hours.

Alternate Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos on Friday made waves by saying that the Greek government was "always prepared for a rift."

Tsakalotos, who is the ministry's key official for international economic relations, made the comment during an interview on Star television channel, prompting a flurry of reactions and criticism on social media.
