Scientists want to bring Caspian tiger back to life
Caspian tigers became extinct in the 1960s when the last feline predator died. The Caspian tigers were one of the largest subspecies to ever roam the earth, with their average body length being around 3 metres. Males weighed 170–240 kg.

Cambodia has unveiled a plan to reintroduce tigers from abroad into the dry forests of the country, where the big cat has become virtually extinct thanks to poaching, conservation officials said April 6.
Tiger Flees Cage at Sofia Zoo
A tiger has escaped from his cage at the Sofia zoo.
According to reports of the Bulgarian National Radio, the tiger is in the Big Cats hall, while TV7 informs that the animal is in a closed hall displaying different types of fish.
Visitors have been evacuated and the zoo has been closed.
A veterinarian has been called to sedate catch the animal.

Hot weather benefits Bengal tigers, monkeys
Above-normal temperatures in summer and mild winter weather in recent years have contributed to the adaptation and reproduction of Bengal tigers and monkeys at the Konya Karatay Zoo, according to officials.
The Bengal tigers at the zoo gave birth to 14 cubs in four years, while monkeys gave birth to three babies in two years.
