And Palme d'Or Goess to... Julia Ducournau
Julia Ducournau's "Titane," a wild body-horror thriller featuring sex with a car and a surprisingly tender heart, won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, news wires reported. Ducournau became the second female filmmaker to win the festival's top honor in its 74 year history.

French shocker ’Titane’ wins Palme d’Or
Shock-fest "Titane" took home the top Palme d'Or prize at Cannes on July 17, revealed early at the closing ceremony in an embarrassing slip-up by jury president Spike Lee.
French director Julie Ducournau is only the second woman to scoop the prize, for a movie that was one of the wildest, sexiest and most violent ever shown at the Cannes film festival.
