Funeral held for Serbian basketball coach Dejan Milojevic

BELGRADE - Serbian basketball coach Dejan Milojevic, who died in the US last month aged 46, was buried at Belgrade's New Bezanija Cemetery on Monday.

Milojevic died in Salt Lake City on January 17 after suffering a heart attack before an NBA game between Utah Jazz and his club Golden State Warriors, where he was an assistant coach.

Tomasevic wins gold medal in discus throw

PITESTI - Serbian female athlete Dragana Tomasevic won the gold medal in discus throw at the Balkan Athletics Championships in Pitesti, Romania.

She scored the victory thanks to the 57.6 metre throw, while Greek athlete Chrysoula Anagnostopoulou won silver with the 53.38 metre throw. Moldova's Dimitriana Surdu claimed the bronze with the throw long 50.17 metres.

Dragana Tomasevic 3rd in European Cup

LEIRIA - Serbia's Dragana Tomasevic won 3rd place in discus at the 2014 European Cup Winter Throwing in Leiria, Portugal, on Sunday.

Tomasevic took the 3rd spot by throwing the discus 59.26 m in her 4th attempt.

Melina Robert-Michon of France won the gold with 64.20 m and Anna Ruh of Germany won the silver with 63.21 m.
