MP Tomić quits the Left
Ljubljana – MP Violeta Tomić resigned on Wednesday from the opposition Left party. It is not yet clear whether she will join another party or deputy group.
Tomić, a second-term MP and one of the most outspoken members of the party, recently confirmed for the daily Večer that she will not contest the upcoming general election on the slate of the Left.

Parovic: Educated young people are future
JASA TOMIC - Concluding his election campaign in his native village of Jasa Tomic, northeastern Serbia, presidential candidate Miroslav Parovic - the leader of the People's Freedom Movement - vowed to model Serbia after his parents' household.
Parovic said his parents had created all they had, and that they had taught him that one must fight and work hard every day.

Serbian kidnapped in Libya freed and taken to safe place
Serbian national Miroslav Tomic, who was abducted in Libya on Sunday, "has been freed and taken to a safe place."
Martin Wiechers from German engineering group Ferrostaal, which employs Tomic, told Tanjug on Tuesday.
