All three lanes are congested from the direction of New Belgrade and vehicles are standing still on a highway.
The reason for the traffic jam is a collision near "Sava Center".

Toll collector held up at gunpoint in northern Athens

Police were looking on Tuesday for a man who held up a toll collector at the Doukissis Plakentias toll station, in northern Athens, on the Attiki Odos ring road.

The unidentified suspect rode up to the toll booth on a motorcycle at around 5.30 a.m. and threatened the collector with a gun, according to reports.

Contractor stationmaster arrested over rail disaster released on conditions 

A contractor stationmaster working for Hellenic Railways was conditionally released on Monday after testifying about his role in a February 28 rail disaster that claimed 57 lives.

The stationmaster will have to appear at his local police station and is banned from leaving the country.

Services on lines 2 (Red) and 3 (Blue) of the Athens will cease at 9 p.m. on Friday due to a work stoppage by metro workers.

The lines will remain closed until the end of shift.

Unions said they called the work stoppage to highlight problems with the metro system, such as the shortage of drivers, technicians, stationmasters and other specialized staff.

Vesic: Serbia to adapt to transformation of automotive industry

BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and Serbia as a state will work on creating conditions to keep up the intensive, historic changes in the automotive industry, such as vehicle electrification, Minister Goran Vesic said on Tuesday at the opening of the 55th Belgrade Car Show and the 15th Motopassion motorcycle show.
