EU Commission Urges Bulgaria to Transpose in Full Energy Efficiency Rules
The European Commission said on Thursday it has requested 11 member states, including Bulgaria, to bring their national legislation fully in line with the EU's Energy Efficiency Directive.

Romania Faces EU Penalties Over Law Delays
The European Commission on Wednesday said it was referring Romania to the EU Court of Justice for failing to enact revised EU legislation on packaging waste into domestic law.
The revised Packaging Directive updates rules on packaging and packaging waste with a view to reducing their impact on the environment, the Commission said in a statement.

Deputy PM Promises New Public Procurement Law Until End of Year
Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev revealed that intensive work was being carried out on a completely new legislation on public procurement.
Donchev expressed hope that the new legislation will be completed by the end of the year, so that it can enter into force on 1 January 2016, daily Dnevnik reports.
