Kosovo Miners Suspend Strike at Trepca
Striking Trepca miners on Friday announced that they were suspending further strike action for a month, to give the government time to decide the future of the complex.
The temporary suspension of the strike was decided following negotiations between the miners and the manager of Trepca, Ahmet Tmava.

Trepca Miners Vow to Continue Strike
Around 725 Kosovo Albanian miners in the middle and southern chain of the Trepca mining complex on Thursday decided to continue their strike, announced at 4 pm, around six hours after starting a meeting on Thursday.
They said the strike would continue and they would soon send their full list of requests to the Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa.

Serbs to be included in Trepca decision-making - report
PRISTINA -- Albanian language daily Koha Ditore writes on Tuesday that the Kosovo government has abandoned the intention to turn Trepca into a public company.
The Pristina-based newspaper adds that a possible change in the status of the mining company will be decided only with the consent of Serbs.

Nikolic confers with Trepca representatives
BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic conferred on Wednesday with a delegation of the Trepca mining complex, headed by Director General Jovan Dimkic.
Nikolic stressed the significance of the agreement on business and technical cooperation that the company has signed with the US-based New Generation Power (NGP) consortium, the presidential press office said in a statement.
