Saurya Airlines Plane Goes Down in Kathmandu; 19 On Board (UPDATED)
Saurya Airlines aircraft crashed during take-off at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday, according to The Himalayan Times. The plane was en route to Pokhara when the incident occurred. The newspaper reported that only technical staff were aboard the flight, which had a total of 19 people on board.
No Survivors in Nepal Plane Crash with 72 on board
All 72 people on board the passenger plane that crashed yesterday in Nepal have died, TASS reported, referring to the Yeti Airlines airline.
"All have died - 68 passengers and four crew members," a representative of the Nepalese airline told the agency.
The previous figure was for 68 victims.

Turkish Airlines leads European carriers in daily flights
Turkey's flag carrier Turkish Airlines ranked first in Europe in terms of the daily number of flights between Feb. 8 and Feb. 15, according to data from the European Organization for Air Navigation Safety (Eurocontrol).
Turkish Airlines operated on average 592 flights a day in the said period, while Turkey's low-cost carrier Pegasus came in third in the list at 263 flights.

Survivors and witnesses of a plane crash in Nepal have described the chaotic moments when the aircraft went down, killing at least 49 people.
The flight, carrying 71 passengers and crew, crashed while landing at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan airport.
Witnesses said there was a loud bang and that the plane shook violently while people wept inside the aircraft and chanted.

A Passenger Plane Crashed during Landing in Kathmandu
A passenger plane crashed during at the international airport of the Nepal capital Kathmandu "Tribhuvan". For the time being, it is unclear whether there are victims, the Associated Press and TASS reported.
The plane, which has fallen on a field near the airport, has ignited and heavy smoke came out of it, said a representative of the airport administration, quoted by the AP.
