Mitsotakis: ‘We invested in the national health system and fared better than richer countries’
At the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Greece closed its border to all travel earlier than other countries, thus avoiding the full effect of the pandemic's first wave, noted Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the online conference "Beyond the Pandemic: A Radical New Approach to Health Security", held on Tuesday.

Health Minister Approved EU Digital Certificate for Bulgaria
The caretaker Minister of Health, Dr. Stoycho Katsarov, approved with his order a template of the EU Digital DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE for the disease COVID-19.
This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Health. The certificate is valid from the 15th to the 180th day from the date of the first positive PCR test for COVID-19.
Several Countries Have Eased Restrictions for Arrivals from Bulgaria
Turkey, Germany, Denmark and the Czech Republic have, in various ways, eased their rules for arrivals from Bulgaria, according to statements by the Foreign Ministry in Sofia.
Greece Extends Entry Restrictions Until June 7
Greece has extended restrictions on entry into the country until 7 June, meaning that all travellers arriving there are required to have a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19. The test should be taken no later than 72 hours before arrival.

Several Countries Ease Travel Restrictions on Bulgarian Arrivals
The Czech Republic is putting Bulgaria on the list of countries with a medium risk of transmission of COVID-19 as of May 31, which lifts some of the restrictions on Bulgarian citizens entering the country, the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

National flag carrier Turkish Airlines has begun trials of a digital health wallet app to facilitate the passenger experience amid the coronavirus pandemic.
