Istanbul Tulip returns home after 200 years
The Istanbul Tulip returned home to Turkey after two centuries, Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has said.
"Today, after more than 200 years, we brought the Istanbul Tulip home!," Consul General Bart van Bolhuis said in a series of Tweets and shared pictures of the yellow-reddish flower with acuminate leaves.

Inverted tulip blooms in Turkey’s east
Inverted tulips that grow in the mountainous regions of Anatolia in the spring have started to blossom on Mount Sakız on the border of the southeastern and eastern provinces of Diyarbakır and Elazığ.
With the arrival of spring, the orange, red and yellows tulips are out in all their glory and have added color to the ever-increasing vivid landscape.

Tulip Festival kicks off in Istanbul
The 13th Istanbul Tulip Festival opened on April 3 at the Emirgan Park with the participation of Istanbul Governor Vasip Şahin. As part of the festival, the Istanbul Municipality has decorated many parts of the city with tulips. The festival will continue with various events throughout April.
