Vitinia tunnel on Hemus motorway will be temporarily closed for traffic in both directions  until 2nd of June because of repair works. Vehicles can use the diversion via the old road. Diversions will be different for cars and lorries.

This has been the fourth closure of Hemus motorway due to repairs in this section since the beginning of the year.

The company that previously won the tender for the preparation, engineering and consultancy services of the Three-Story Grand Istanbul Tunnel Project, Yüksel Project International, will soon start work on the project, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on May 25.

An immersed tunnel and a bridge will be built in the Aegean province of İzmir, Transport Minister Ahmet Arslan said on May 24, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Speaking at the second Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Fair in İzmir, Arslan said an underwater tunnel and a bridge would be built in the province as part of a new project. 

A tunnel leading to a jewelry shop and one leading to an exchange office were found during digging works of a metro line construction in Istanbul, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on May 16.

Chain crash between five cars happened after the tunnel "Vitinya" of "Hemus" highway in the direction of Varna, reported "Focus" agency. Because of the crash was formed plug near the bridge.

 Again in tunnel "Vitinya" but towards Sofia a bus strapped. The movement is difficult. Tunnel both ways because of repair in one of the pipes.
