Over 15 000 People Not Let Into Bulgaria in 2014
A total of 15 126 people were not allowed to cross the Bulgarian-Turkish border since the beginning of 2014, Interior Ministry Chief Secretary Svetlozar Lazarov told journalists at a joint press conference with caretaker Interior Minister Yordan Bakalov.

51 People Detained At Bulgaria's Borders Over Weekend
A total of 51 persons were apprehended at Bulgaria's border checkpoints over the weekend, the Ministry of Interior informs.
Of those, 50 were detained at the Bulgarian-Turkish border and one at the Bulgarian-Macedonian border.
131,590 Bulgarians Living Abroad Cast Their Votes in Parliamentary Elections
The total number of Bulgarian citizens who have cast their votes in the polling stations in 58 countries is 131,590.
Nearly half of them voted in Turkey - 60 090 people, according to a statement published on the website of Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry.

Police Detain 78 Illegal Immigrants at Sofia-based Hostel
Police have detained 78 illegal immigrants in an operation at a hostel in downtown Sofia.
The illegal immigrants, Iraqi and Afghanistan nationals, were detained in a joint operation of the Sofia Directorate of the Ministry of Interior and Border Police, according to reports of the Bulgarian National Television.
Some 10 illegal immigrants were sharing one room.
Bulgaria without Censorship 'to Block Border with Turkey' before Elections
Ex-journalist and MEP Nikolay Barekov's Bulgaria without Censorship party has pledged to set up a blockade at the Bulgarian-Turkish border on October 1.
Mariya Kalenderska, MP candidate and Barekov's partner, has told national private channel bTV her party doubts the electoral process could be fair here or in the polling sections opened in Turkey.
