Bulgarian private TV7 channel could stop broadcasting as a bailiff entered the building of the media on Wednesday.

The bailiff is attempting to take out the TV equipment of the media, which would result in it from broadcasting.

There are people outside the building, who had been hired to help with the removal of the TV equipment.

Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) majority owner Tsvetan Vasilev has announced "political pressure" beyond his control is being exerted on him.

While in a police station in Serbia's capital Belgrade, the Bulgarian businessman has explained he would like to undergo the entire official extradition procedure and is waiting for his lawyers to make him familiar with the next step.

Tsvetan Vasilev, Coprorate Commercial Bank's majority shareholder, is willing to return to Bulgaria despite perceiving a threat to his life, his lawyer says.

Konstantin Simeonov, who is to defend Vasilev starting Monday, told private national channel TV7 the banker is currently residing in Serbia's capital Belgrade.

Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) majority shareholder Tsvetan Vasilev said he had made a mistake by appointing MEP Nikolay Barekov as TV7 channel's CEO.

The MEP Nikolay Barekov reportedly overtakes his former employer, the national channel TV7, which earlier this week filed for bankruptcy. 

In an official statement, published on the TV7 website, the company management claimed that in the late Thursday afternoon “a dozen tattooed thugs and a temporary assignee in bankruptcy muscled into the TV7's offices”.

The TV7 and BBT TV channels filed for bankruptcy with the Sofia City Court, in accordance with the Commercial Act, reports Dnevnik.bg. 

“With this move the company hopes to protect itself from invalid claims of creditors,” said the management of the two connected companies in a statement to the media. 

Bulgarian banker Tsvetan Vasilev said that Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) MP Delyan Peevski has “gone too far in the past year, assuming the role of almighty”.
