Two individuals have been detained in Varna's "Asparuhovo" district as part of a police operation targeting vote-buying and domestic crime, according to a report by BNT. Pawnshops, payday loan businesses, and other locations suspected of involvement in vote trading are under investigation.

Bulgarian Police Detained a 46-year-old Man who Shot a Dog

Police officers from Tvarditsa detained a 46-year-old man who caused the death of a domestic dog, the press center of the regional police announced.

The report was made at around 18.00 on November 10 by the 52-year-old owner of the animal. He stated that one of the dogs guarding his farm in the area of Studena voda in the territory of the municipality of Tvarditsa was shot.

Driver Todor Slavov died after suffering a heavy car crash at the Tvarditsa-Elena rally racing, which was taking place in Bulgaria over the weekend.

The incident happened shortly after the start of the second and last day of the rally on Sunday, 6-7 kilometres after Tvarditsa in the direction of the town of Elena.
