Two individuals have been detained in Varna's "Asparuhovo" district as part of a police operation targeting vote-buying and domestic crime, according to a report by BNT. Pawnshops, payday loan businesses, and other locations suspected of involvement in vote trading are under investigation.

Police officers from Tvarditsa detained a 46-year-old man who caused the death of a domestic dog, the press center of the regional police announced.

The report was made at around 18.00 on November 10 by the 52-year-old owner of the animal. He stated that one of the dogs guarding his farm in the area of Studena voda in the territory of the municipality of Tvarditsa was shot.

A one-year-old child died in a serious accident near the Pavelbanya village of Gabarevo, reported Radio Stara Zagora.

The fire in a pine forest near Tvarditsa continues to be extinguished, the regional governor of Sliven Mincho Afutsov announced, quoted by BTA.

Throughout the night, fire crews have put out the fire near the village to restrict access to the houses.

Driver Todor Slavov died after suffering a heavy car crash at the Tvarditsa-Elena rally racing, which was taking place in Bulgaria over the weekend.

The incident happened shortly after the start of the second and last day of the rally on Sunday, 6-7 kilometres after Tvarditsa in the direction of the town of Elena.

An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was registered Thursday morning in the region of Tvarditsa, central Bulgaria, according to seismologists at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).
