The Ultimate Warrior

Conservator Alexander Zokos carefully cleans the elaborate, oval ivory lid of a compass (jewelry box) found in the tomb of of a Bronze Age warrior (Griffin Warrior) at Pylos dated to around 1500 BC, and which was brought to light by archaeologists Sharon Stocker and Jack Davis of the University of Cincinnati in 2015. It depicts the battle between a lion and a griffin, with the former winning.

The Griffin Warrior was also determined to have been a member of this local population

The Athens Open-Air Film Festival takes film buffs into " George Miller's dystopian post-apocalyptic world with the cult classic from 1981 "Max Max 2: The Road Warrior." Believed by die-hard fans to the be the best of the series, "Road Warrior" stands out for the amazing cinematography by Dean Semler, among other features, including curt dialogues and incredible costume design.
