9 injured as bus turns over in Belgrade suburb

BELGRADE -- A Lasta transport company bus traveling on line 860 from Belgrade to Obrenovac turned over late on Tuesday, injuring eight passengers and the driver.

BELGRADE - The rescue teams have evacuated 31,873 people from flood-hit areas in Serbia so far, while 2,260 buildings have been flooded and another 1,763 are in danger of the same fate, the Interior Ministry of Serbia said on Wednesday.

The relief efforts have included 3,564 firefighters, 847 vehicles, 429 pumps and 141 boats.
