United Group, a BC Partners company, acquires Wind Hellas
United Group has reached an agreement with Crystal Almond Holdings Limited for the acquisition of Wind Hellas.
The deal is reportedly worth 950m euros.
Providing mobile, landline and television services, Wind has a total of 4.2 million users and has revenues of over € 500 million per year.

Ljubljana – Slovenian clothes retailer Sportina is in talks with telecommunications group United Group to enter strategic cooperation in the field of online shopping. It thus denied the business newspaper Finance’s report that United Group was about to buy it. United Group did not comment.
United Media planning to expand to Slovenia with news portal
Ljubljana – United Media, the media division of United Group, plans to expand to the Slovenian market this year by setting up a news portal under the N1 brand, which is already active in the region.
The Luxembourg-based United Media has already opened the Adria News subsidiary in Ljubljana under which the N1 Slovenija web portal will operate.
