Bulgaria Approves Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, and More
Bulgaria has approved humanitarian aid amounting to 929,019 leva to support Ukraine, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Armenia. This assistance will be offered as voluntary contributions through international organizations, as confirmed by a recent government decision.
UNICEF to open global office in Istanbul
Turkish parliament has received a presidential decree approving the establishment of a United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) global office in Istanbul.
The agency will relocate to the Istanbul office its key operations, including human resources, emergency operations and major finance and administration units.

Bulgaria will send New Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine
The Bulgarian government decided at its meeting today that Bulgaria will provide new humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the amount of 293,376 leva due to Russia's ongoing aggression. The funds come from the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Istanbul to turn into UN hub, humanitarian operation center

Over 4600 People Killed in Eastern Ukraine Since Start of Conflict
More than 4600 people were killed since the beginning of the conflict in eastern Ukraine this spring, said the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
According to the OCHA report, released on Friday, as of December 7 at least 4634 people were killed and 10 243 were wounded.
