United Nations Security Council resolutions

The parliament approved a presidential motion on Oct. 18 to extend the mandate of Turkish troops in Lebanon for one more year.

The mandate for deployment of Turkish Armed Forces as part of the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) will be extended as of Oct. 30, 2022.

The Russian embassy in Sarajevo alleged on Tuesday that the impending arrival of German troops in Bosnia and Herzegovina to bolster the European Union's EUFOR peacekeeping force, also known as Operation Althea, was part of Western attempts to militarily dominate the Balkan country.

The UN Security Council adopted a resolution on Jan. 12 mandating a multinational operation to oversee a lasting ceasefire in Libya.

The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus says hunting in the buffer zone is a security risk and strictly prohibited.
In a statement released on Thursday, on the occasion of the start of the hunting season in Cyprus, UNFICYP cautions that such activities in the buffer zone, as well as the use of weapons, dogs or equipment in this context, is a security risk and banned.

Turkey will continue to fight all terror groups with resolution and determination, the National Security Council said late on July 30.
