Number of Bulgarian Students in UK Universities is slightly Declining over the years

The number of Bulgarian students in the United Kingdom has slightly declined by -415 students less in four academic years, official figures have shown. A total of 6,185 Bulgarians studied in the UK during 2017/18, which numbers decreased to 5,770 by 2020/21, the education search platform Erudera.com reports. 

Greeks studying in UK will need visas

The United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union has created a new environment for EU, and by extension Greek, students at the country's universities.

Indicatively, a visa will be required for the next academic year, while tuition fees will be determined by each individual academic institution. These fees will differ according to the field and level of studies.

Brexit won’t impact British university degrees in Greece

The status in Greece of degrees from British institutions of higher education will not be impacted by Brexit, according to the Education Ministry.
More specifically, British universities and colleges were included in a bill tabled in Parliament by Education Minister Niki Kerameus which stipulates that degrees of European Union countries are recognized in Greece.

Britain Keeps the Fees and Funding of Bulgarian Students For 2020 -2021

Britain keeps the fees and state funding levels for UK universities for EU students and for the 2020-2021 academic year. This was made clear by an official announcement by British Minister of Higher Education Chris Skidmore yesterday. The news was confirmed by all British universities, partners of the Global Education project in Bulgaria, the media reported in the project.

UK Universities To Recruit Students from Bulgaria and Romania

British universities are trying to recruit more students from the EU, including Bulgaria and Romania, despite fears of defaults on loan repayments, reports The Sunday Times. 

With the cap on university places to be lifted next year, Les Ebdon, the director of the Office for Fair Access, said it was obvious that universities will attempt to recruit more students from the EU.
