Budget surplus at RSD 5.9 billion
BELGRADE - The total budget surplus since the start of 2015 is RSD 5.9 billion, Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic has said.
"In part, the surplus is caused by the fact that we are spending money more slowly," he said on Wdnesday, during a parliament debate on a bill meant to limit property management in order to prevent terrorism.

Budget surplus came from higher revenue, lower expenditure
BELGRADE - Serbia's Minister of Finance Dusan Vujovic has said that the budget surplus recorded in January and February was based on higher revenue and lower expenditure.
Revenue went up thanks to VAT collection and excise taxes, but also because of non-tax revenue that includes dividends paid by government companies, he told Radio and Television of Serbia on Wednesday.
