Bulgaria and Georgia Increase their Ferry Connections

Following the bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia on 16th of April, the two countries will increase ferries through the Black Sea from twice a month to twice a day, reports BNT.

Over 25 kg of Cocaine Worth BGN 7.6 Million Found Near Varna

A little over 25 kg is the amount of cocaine found near Varna. Washed ashore on the beach in front of the Marina Hotel in the Slanchev Den complex, it was reported on 112 at 5 pm yesterday by construction workers, the Ministry of Interior's regional directorate deputy head, Andrey Angelov, said at a briefing today, quoted by Focus Radio.

Eight Guards have been Exposed to Fumes in a Fire in the Prison in Varna

Eight people are in hospital after a fire in a prison in Varna, reports Bulgaria ON AIR. The incident happened in the afternoon on Tuesday.

All the injured are employees. They are accepted in the Varna toxicology because of exposure to fumes. Their condition is stable.

All inmates have been examined and are in good health. There was no evacuation due to the incident.
