I first met her in 2014 as an entertainer at Madame Tussauds Museum, among wax figures of celebrities, just as her first short film was hitting theaters. I photographed her on the 10th floor of the Tate Modern with all of London at her feet. Was it prophetic? Certainly. Seven years later, we met again in a pole dancing class.

Torrential rain floods areas in southern Greece
Torrential rainfall has caused floods in areas of Ileia in southern Greece.
According to the Athens News Agency, the floods have caused disruptions on the Pyrgos-Tripoli national highway at the Strefiou intersection and on the Pyrgos-Kyparissia highway near the Kallikomo community.

A Greek-American among NYC most successful people under 40
“City & State”, a newspaper based in New York, announced the annual list of the most successful people under 40, with Greek-American Eftichia Thomopoulou among the winners for 2016. She is from Nafpaktos, a small city in Western Greece and is the daughter of George Thomopoulos and Vasiliki Goupiou.
Magnitude 6.1 quake in Lefkada, leaves two dead (pics)
protothema.gr confirmed reports that two women have lost their lives in the magnitude 6.1 earthquake that struck Lefkada at 9.10 a.m. on Tuesday. The first woman died south of the island at the village of Ponti in Vasiliki and the village of Athani, southwest of the island.
