As tensions in Venezuela mount ahead of a Feb. 23 showdown over humanitarian aid, Russian state news agencies said on Feb. 20 that a Russian shipment of medicine and medical equipment had arrived in Venezuela.

"The Americans are properly on the right side, supporting Kosovo - on the side of crimes, lies. We were on their side in both world wars, and they chose the ones they fought against in both wars," the Serbian foreign minister told the Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti.
