Kosovo Serbs gathered in front of municipal buildings in Serb-dominated northern Kosovo early on Monday, protesting against newly elected ethnic Albanian mayors, while Kosovo Police and NATO's peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, KFOR, upped their presence to secure the area.

Because of the meeting with Hovenier, Kurti left the Parliamentary session where the agreement with Belgrade was discussed, among other things.
Kosovo Ruling Party Accused of ‘Capturing’ Public Broadcaster
Media unions and opposition parties have accused Kosovo's ruling party, Vetevendosje, of the capture of the public broadcaster, RTK, after the board announced that Rilind Gervalla was appointed Director of Television on Tuesday.
Graffiti appeared in North Mitrovica this morning: "We are waiting for you" PHOTO
The photos were shared on numerous accounts of Albanian social network users.
Similar graffiti had been written on the streets of North Mitrovica before, as well as in other municipalities in the north of Kosovo, but now the signature "North Brigade" appeared for the first time.
Graffiti can be seen on the main promenade and in bars around the city.
